MA-APA Student Planning

Massachusetts is home to four PAB-accredited graduate planning programs (UMass-Amherst, Tufts, MIT, and Harvard). Each of these programs has a planning student organization and an APA student representative:

Harvard Graduate School of Design:
Zach Vanderkooy (zvanderk@gsd.harvard.edu)

Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Urban Studies and Planning:
Tamika Guavin (tcgauvin@mit.edu)

Tufts University Department of Urban and Environmental Planning and Policy:
Pete Kane & Alison LeFlore (tuftsplanning@gmail.com)

University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Department of Landscape Architecture and Planning:
Ryan Wallace (rdwallac@larp.umass.edu)

The Student Representatives Council’s Region I representative is Danielle Rovillo  (rovillo@buffalo.edu)

Over the next year, the Studen Representatives Council's Region I representative will work with the other five regional representatives and other leadership at the APA to explore and act on projects to benefit students. The representative will also be surveying APA student representatives and their classmates at other planning programs in Region I regarding ways to improve communication, resources, and activities provided by APA to students, including the annual National Conference.
